Last
year Mercedes-AMG announced the launch of a limited edition version of
the G63 and G65 for those who find the regular model just a tad boring.
They call them the Crazy Color models, and one of them, a Tomato Red Mercedes G63 AMG has now been spotted for sale.
The reason this is an occasion, apart
from the fact that Crazy Color shades are totally bitching, is the
rarity factor. Crazy AMGs are only sold in a number of market and they
have limited production. That is why they are rare to find and considerably more expensive than regular models. They start from about 15K euros and go up to 20K.
The Tomato Red Mercedes G63 AMG Crazy
Color you see here, found at Auto SL GmbH in Germany, features a
mid-range color worth 18.913 Euros. This unique shade of red is one of
the more interesting Crazy Color options, especially when paired with
the other signature feature of the Crazy range, the gloss black bumpers,
fender flares, running boards, side mirrors and roof.
As mentioned, Crazy Color option is
available for both G63 and G65 AMG. This one is a G63 powered by a 5.5
liter twin-turbo V8 with 575 horsepower. The SUV also features a leather
an Alcantara interior with red stitching throughout and carbon fiber
trims.
