Power bump costs €1,490
German tuner Kaege has developed an upgrade program for the
Porsche Macan S Diesel.
The €59,120 crossover from Stuttgart comes as standard with
a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel developing 258 HP (190 kW) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft)
but those who are not satisfied with the stock configuration can contact Kaege
for a healthy power boost. Their kit costs €1,490 and raises the engine's
output to 310 HP (228 kW) and a massive 700 Nm (517 lb-ft) which should
seriously improve performances compared to the standard Macan S Diesel that
needs 6.3 seconds until 100 km/h (6.1s with Sport Chrono package) and tops out
at 143 mph (230 km/h).
The additional oomph can be matched with a €1,299 KW
suspension featuring an electronic lowering module while KW coilovers are an
extra €549. There's also a KW street comfort chassis upgrade for €1,349 and a
21-inch set of BBS wheels with 265/40 R21 front & 295/35 R21 tires
available as a set for €3,690. A subtle optical kit is an extra €690 and can be paired with optional red brake calipers.
