Set to arrive at dealerships in late summer, the 2016 CTS-V will be priced from $83,995 which makes it more affordable than its German rivals.
Despite being cheaper, the CTS-V is more powerful as it features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 640 bhp (477 kW) and 630 lb-ft (855 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).
Besides the high-performance engine, the CTS-V features an aggressive front fascia with a mesh grille and larger air intakes. The car also has a ventilated carbon fiber hood, aerodynamic side skirts and 19-inch forged aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The sporty styling continues in the cabin as there's semi-aniline leather / sueded microfiber sport seats, matte carbon fiber trim, a CUE infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
