Platinum Cars GmbH of Winterthur, Switzerland, has just finished murdering a Mercedes S63 Coupe
AMG V8 Bi-Turbo. They have called this car many things at various
stages, like All Black and Mafia Coupe, but now they seem to have
settled no “Crystal Rock” which to be honest sounds like a new species
of crystal meth.
At any rate, Platnium’s black on black on
black Mercedes S63 Coupe is a fine example what can be done using only a
bucket of paint and some good judgment. Because of its unique looks and
bulky size, the S63 Coupe responds well to getting murdered-out and
brings out a wild side that you wouldn’t have guessed was there.
Slammed on a set of matte black ADV1s,
this Mercedes S63 Coupe has had a crackdown on all its chrome parts. All
of that is replaced with gloss black stuff, which of course complements
the tinted windows and the smoked lights. Our favorite part is the
front grille which looks really cool with black arms and just the prongs
of the star left in original silver.
Even in standard form, Mercedes S63 Coupe
has enough guts to back up those mean looks. The car comes out of the
factory sporting a 585 horsepower bi-turbo 5.5 liter V8 engine which
takes it from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and on to a limited top speed
of 155 mph, which you can raise with a bit of modification.
