Looking
for something to spice up his oldie but goodie sports car with, the
owner of this Porsche 997 GT3 RS sent his green baby to KAEGE Automobile
GmbH for a series of upgrade. The treatment the car has received
improves it in a number of key areas that make the driving experience a
lot more fun.
KAEGE Porsche 997 GT3 RS has been treated
to an engine upgrade program that includes M+M muffler system with fan
type exhaust manifold and 200 cells cats, carbon fiber air box,
electrical power steering pump, Sachs sports clutch with lightweight
flywheel and a short-shifter for the gearbox. These mods add to the
standard 415 bhp of the 3.6 liter flat-six engine another 25 horsepower.
In terms of dynamics improvements, KAEGE
Porsche 997 GT3 RS gets KW custom suspension and a set of BBS wheels in
sizes 9×19 and 12.5×19 inch front/rear, wrapped with Michelin Pilot
Sport Cup 2 tires. The set weights 9 kg less then the stock. Further
weight saving is done through the employment of the sport exhaust and a
Liteblox lithium ions battery that shaves a good 15 kg off.
Another highlight of this GT3 RS is a
cool tartan interior with sport seats and lots of green accents, a 4.0
liter GT3 steering wheel, a roll bar, and a helmet bag that matches the
seat upholstery.
