Smart Montenapo By Aznom Is A ForTwo With Italian Flair

Italy is traditionally the biggest market worldwide for the Smart ForTwo, so it’s only natural that Daimler’s smallest car attracts interest from local tuners.
Italian custom shop Aznom has recently revealed the Smart Montenapo, which is essentially a latest-generation ForTwo that combines luxurious interior materials inspired by the world of fashion with a classy exterior.
Monza-based Aznom (nice one, just read backwards...) has given the customized Smart ForTwo a 3M wrap in a Titanium Satin hue for the doors, bumpers and front fenders, in contrast with the Anthracite Grey wrap of the Tridion Safety Cell. The bodywork also features silver Montenapo lettering.
But the biggest changes were made inside, where Aznom ditched the original upholstery for full-grain natural leather combined with Ermenegildo Zegna cloth center seat sections inspired by the fashion house’s Prince of Wales collection. The same material dresses the touchscreen display and can be found on the gear lever, door panels and instrument panel as well.
The Smart Montenapo by Aznom has a surprise in the trunk in the form of a hidden customized case that contains a bottle of Bollinger Special Cuvee Champagne and two glasses. And to top it off, the aftermarket specialist offers each car with a travel bag made of the same materials used in the interior.
Nothing is changed from a technical point of view, with the Montenapo being based on the 71PS version of the ForTwo equipped with the optional six-speed Twinamic dual-clutch transmission.
The car is sold exclusively by Magni & Carnevale Motors in Milan.
