Spotlight: RUF RGT 4.2

RUF RGT 42 0 600x400 at Spotlight: RUF RGT 4.2
A few days ago we showed you the uber-amazing RUF Targa Florio and promised to bring you something even more awesome from the prestigious German tuning house. Here it is, the magnificently unique RUF RGT 4.2 based on Porsche 991 Carrera.
RUF RGT 4.2 is not the fastest tuned 911 out there, nor is it the prettiest. But it could be argued that it is the uniquest, what with the wide body kit inspired by the Carrera’s of the yesteryear and a healthy power upgrade that brings this car up to Turbo levels of performance .
The styling kit is the finest feature of RUF RGT 4.2, and it consists of a retro front bumper featuring a carbon lip spoiler, new front wings with extended arches, side skirts, rear wide fenders, visible bolting apparatus for that extra special look, a massive rear diffuser with central tailpipe, and a ginormous rear wing. All these bits add up to give the RGT a one-of-a-kind look, especially when paired with RUF’s retro wheels.
As for the performance, as the name suggests, the 4.2 boasts a flat-six engine upped by the tuner to 4.2 liter for a maximum power output of 525 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. With a six-speed manual gearbox, that power translates into a top speed of 323 km/h.
