There seems to be more body kit than car here.
Liberty Walk may be a custom tuner based in Japan, but the company has quite a thing for Italian supercars. The tuner previously showed us the shockingly expensive Silhouette Works GT kit for the Lamborghini Huracan as well as its modified Ferrari 488.
The latest project from Liberty Walk was shared by the founder himself, Wataru Kato, on social media. In honor of his 54th birthday, Kato unveiled a very special Lamborghini Aventador with the LB-Silhouette Works Aventador GT Evo kit. That's a mouthful, and the styling is a lot to digest, too. Based on his post, it appears that a limited number of 20 of these kits will be available.
The stock Aventador is hardly what you'd call the wallflower of the automotive industry, but this one takes it all to another level. Shown with two different wheel designs, it's been dropped down as low as any four-wheeled machine can go. The body is finished in silver with a contrasting black roof, black graphics on the hood, and more black along the lower front air dam.
An even wider body contributes to the attention-grabbing looks. The rear-end is possibly even more audacious, with an impossibly large wing, a giant rear diffuser, and high-mounted dual tailpipes with a blue finish.
While some Liberty Walk kits have gone too far, the company's penchant for the extreme seems like a good fit for a supercar with the personality of the mad Aventador. What will it cost you, though? Take a deep breath.
According to the Liberty Walk website, the LB-Silhouette Works Aventador GT Evo complete body kit carries a whopping cost of $187,000 for the dry carbon fiber version. That could almost buy you a new Huracan Evo! The fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) version goes for $94,600 and a combination of the dry and FRP versions will cost up to $123,200. It's difficult to justify such a cost, but at the same time, it's an appropriately extravagant celebration of Kato's 54th birthday.
