And it's called the Blue Arrow.
Edo Competition has just unveiled what it claims to be the fastest Porsche 991 Turbo S, a 675-hp thrill ride. The German aftermarket tuner’s latest project is called the Blue Arrow, which begins with the latest Porsche 911 Turbo S. Thanks to a newly developed engine control unit with performance optimized software, and lighter engine, this performance kit produces a total of 675 ponies (up from 580) and 627 lb-ft of torque (up from 553). Performance? Zero to 62 mph happens in 2.7 seconds, up from 2.9 in stock form.
It only takes 8.6 seconds from a standstill to 124 mph, and 23.4 seconds from 0 to 186 mph. In terms of exhaust note, a redesigned sport muffler with a tri-alloy cat converter has been added that’s said to "guarantee real motorsport feeling." The chassis has also been enhanced with an Edo / KW racing chassis with a closure set or specially developed sport suspension springs. Ride height has also been lowered by 30 mm. As far as the exterior look goes, there’s a new GT3 RS-inspired carbon front hood, 2- or 3-part grille up front, color coordinated brake calipers, and various other individual alterations available. There’s even a lightweight carbon battery with carbon holding brackets.
The ultra-lightweight forged wheels measure at 20 inches and can also be had in an assortment of colors. Order books are now open but pricing wasn’t made available. If, for some reason, these 911 Turbo S improvements aren’t impressive enough for you, Edo Competition is already at work on Stage II.
