One of our favorite wide body kit for the R231 generation Mercedes SL is the extreme kit offered by Japanese tuner VITT Squalo. They have now released a bunch of new photos of VITT Mercedes SL63 AMG in white and they are too cool not to be featured.
Although it looks decidedly Japanese,
VITT Mercedes SL63 AMG styling kit is not as overcooked as the works of
other tuners from that part of the world, namely Wald and Liberty Walk.
One gets the idea that with this project VITT took the standard body
panels on the SL and sort of made them look bigger and more prominent.
So at the front you get a new bumper with
large air intakes and rows of LED lights, a spoiler lip, and two new
nostrils, flanked by custom front wings, side vents, new side skirts,
widened rear fenders, custom rear bumper complete with diffuser and
tailpipes, and a rear wing which, we have to admit, does look a bit
unsightly.
VITT Mercedes SL63 AMG also gets a set of
aftermarket wheels and, we reckon, modified suspension to adjust the
gap inside those massive fenders relative to the size of the wheels.
