The Honda Civic Type R on Sale Now Priced at $34,775

The 2017 Honda Civic Type R - the most powerful production Honda ever sold in the U.S. goes on sale today with a starting price of $34,775. This confirms the price we first saw on a leaked Monroney sticker.

The Civic Type R, the first Honda to use the Type R badge in the United States, produces 306 hp at 6,500 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque from 2,500-4500 rpm from its 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 with the automaker's famous i-VTEC variable valve technology.A short-throw six-speed manual transmission routes power to the front wheels and comes standard with a helical limited-slip differential. The track-spec Civic rides on black 20x8.5-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in 245/30ZR20 Continental SportContact 6 high-performance tires. Stopping power is provided by four-piston Brembo calipers clamping down on 13.8-inch cross-drilled rotors up front and 12.0-inch rotors with single-piston calipers in the rear.

Handling prowess can be attributed to the dual-axis strut front suspension, multi-link rear suspension, exclusive Type R springs, bushings, damper mounting points, and front and rear anti-roll bars. The automaker's Adaptive Damper System utilizes input from three on-board G sensors, four suspension sensors, and a steering angle sensor to continuously adjust damping force at all four corners.

Three selectable driving modes Comfort, Sport, and +R adjust the Civic's Adaptive Damper System, steering, throttle response, and brakes to the driver's preference. The automatic rev matching system has two settings, one for Comfort and Sport, and a more aggressive setting for the +R mode.

The Civic Type R is sold in one well-equipped Touring trim that comes standard with LED daytime running lights, headlights, taillights, fog lights, turn signals, and brake lights. The aerodynamics package consists of a front splitter, side winglets, air-stabilizing vents, a large rear wing, and roof-mounted vortex generators. Inside, the Type R receives a 7.0-inch display screen, a 7.0-inch driver information screen (with various performance displays), navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 540-watt, 12-speaker audio system. A lightweight all-aluminum hood and high-flow exhaust with three center-mounted exhaust tips are additional standard Type R performance features.

The 2017 Honda Civic Type R delivers an EPA-rated 22/28/25 mpg city/highway/combined, but that won't stop anyone from buying the hottest hot-hatch ever to come from the land of the rising sun, or in this case, Honda's plant in Swindon, England, where the Type R is currently built.

KAHN DESIGN AND THE STEALTHY SEXINESS: IT'S WORTH THE CHECK OUT!

Here's something that we did not share with you. One more mighty Range Rover that have undergone a surgery by Kahn Design. Why we have missed out this one you might as. Well, we decided that we would wait a bit, in order to reduce the hype, but the truth is clear: this one is rather fascinating!

This time the lucky vehicle is a Range Rover Sport SVR. The already exceptional machine received numerous upgrades and changes that altogether redefine the characteristics of both brands. So, let's see what this bad boy has to offer!

Exterior

The most apparent changes are done onto the body: Kahn Design team has added neat ABS polymers, aggressive front splitter, wider wheel arches and neat exclusive Kahn 23-inch RS alloys.

Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Buyers will be dealing with sweet Volcanic Rock Satin finish that contributes to stealthier and more menacing looks. This aura is further enhanced by rear deck lid spoiler, new roof wing and some elegant custom color details. Neat.

Interior

As anyone would expect, the interior resembles the ambition of Kahn design and welcomes anyone to a cozy and functional place. There are new sport seats with neat quilted and perforated leather, handcrafted aluminum pedals, stainless steel door entry and many, many more.

HARTMANN SHOWS OFF WITH A JOB WELL-DONE!

Have you noticed that there is something super badass about vans? And especially these, created with a sporty spirit and additional tuning features? In fact, we do like vans a lot for some reason. And here's good news for us: the VANSPORTS Camper. It is menacing, stealthy and super flexible. Here's why!

First of all, the sweet vehicle have undergone some exterior modifications and changes: there are new front spoiler, side sills and rear apron installed, all along with neat alloys by VEST in matte-gray-metallic finish. Furthermore, the design team has also included fresh radiator grille, door handles, mirror caps and an a/c cover for the roof.

All these additions contribute to the overall massive, muscular and aggressive appearance of the van. And we like it. In fact, we like it a lot! We have to wwwit that this sweetie is a bit bulky, but we would give it a chance.

However, the most interesting part of the vehicle is the heavily modified interior. First of all, there is a special anti-drumming coating and isolation, followed by an aluminum system floor, exclusively by Schhierle that secures the single seats. There is also something else that was especially created by Schnierle: the three movable single seats that are covered with black Gaucho-leather and contrast seamps and waffle patterns. Furthermore, there are some Alcantara-covered details as the door panels and the lower dashboard, while the roof liner is coated with black microfiber.

And the best part? Well, there are numerous utility goodies, but here we will review just some of them: driver and passengers will be pleased to know that there are folding table, side panel cabinets, two folding beds, an extra vehicle batter, LED-living space illumination and tons of other cool details that altogether do make a difference.

VILNER PRESENTS A PREMIUM PROJECT: MERCEDES-BENZ VISION CLA 250

As you might remember, back in 2003, Mercedes-Benz proudly unveiled the Vision CLS. It was quite a pleasurable surprise: providing enthusiasts and byers with a 4-door coupe by a well-respected manufacturer changed the whole automobile market. However, there were some that wanted even more: a proud owner of such a machine and Vilner team from Bulgaria.

The owner of the CLA 250 has asked the engineering and design team to revise the interior of the automobile in a way that they believe is most suitable. Sounds good, right? Well there's something that have made the project quite challenging: the owner was dealing with a limited budget. Vilner team itself says that it was about 20% of the price of the Vision CLS.

So, what were the main challenges before Vilner?

First of all, the final result must look as a premium one. There were tons of modifications, changes and additions that should contribute to a luxurious and overall satisfactory feel. Of course, the limited budget has made this task nearly impossible.

Second, the team had to deal with a technique that was not previously applied. We are talking about this fine perforation with a 3D feel for the whole cabin. In fact, this was also the most funds-consuming part of the whole project. However, Vilner team has executed it perfectly: we are seeing neat combination of black and brown Alcantara cover, blended with brown stitching that is both contrasting and super elegant.

Of course, there are some modifications made onto the exterior. After all, the pleasure of the interior should be accompanied by welcome notes from the outside. The backlights are dimmed, the rear emblem is painted in black, while the diffuser is finished in "Honey Bronze". This same finish is applied to the door handles, front radiator grille and the wheels. In fact, the wheels are worth for a single review: these are 17-inch alloys with simplistic design concept in Gunmetal Light Graphite/Honey Bronze finish. Sweet.
